Breakup Blunder

So, here's a wild ride I didn't see coming: she didn't talk to me at all. I might have messed things up at the end, but hey, hindsight's 20/20, right?

Anyway, I know she sold her house, and I can't help but think it was because of me. It probably was. So here's the scoop: she was the one who bought the car we shared. When we broke up, I had to give it back, which was fair—she did pay for it. I always knew this day would come, but when it did, I needed a new set of wheels. I strolled down to Regent, financed a car, and boom, problem solved.

Except, my driver's license still had her address on it, so that's what went on the application. Fast forward about a year, I moved to my current place and left the car... well, let's just say it found a cozy spot on a street in Winnipeg. Yeah, not my brightest moment. I was a bit of a mess back then.

Then, about a year or two later, I decided to adult and check my credit report. Guess what? The car was gone, vanished like Houdini. No creditors chasing me, no black marks on my report—it was like the car never existed. And that's when it hit me: they must've gone after her because my driver's license still had her address. She probably had to sell the house to deal with it!

Or, maybe, just maybe, Shawn's house was better and more appealing. Who knows?

But, honestly, I'm betting it's the first scenario
